v Celebration of
Reading Week
In order to mark the 40th Birth Anniversary of His
Majesty the fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchhuk, the school will be celebrating
the Reading week in the school. Therefore interested parents are invited to
attend the program.
The school is organizing Reader’s theatre for seniors(Classes VII
& VIII) and story-telling competition for Juniors (Classes II,IV,V) on
Saturday, October 31,2015.
Class III and VI are exempted from participating in the program as
the trial examination commences on Monday, October 26,2015.

World’s largest Lesson
On September
25, 2015 the United Nations announced The Global Goals for Sustainable
Development, a set of goals for the world that aim to make our planet fair,
healthy and sustainable by 2030.
It is an opportunity to foster global citizenship in schools, support students
learning across a range of subject areas such as science, geography,
citizenship and technology and develop big ideas including human rights,
poverty, and environmental issues.
Ministries
of Education across the world are pledging their support and education organizations are joining together to make this lesson a reality.
In
Bhutan, Minister of Education is launching this programme at Rinchen Kuenphen
Primary School, Thimphu on September 28.
IT Examination for class VII and VIII
will commence on September 30,2015 for the academic year.
